Planning service/design performance at Merkers, Werra site, K + S Kali GmbH:
Creation of a concept and execution – study for the planned depositing of six shafts.

Shaft reconditioning at Borth rock-salt mine (esco – european ealt company GmbH & Co. KG):
Restoration work is under way in the Borth I and Borth II shafts and insets. Repair of shaft guides and skip loading installation. Renovation of bunker systems.

Shaft backfilling, colliery West, DSK
Preparing of the backfilling of Friedrich-Heinrich No. 3 Shaft. Work is executed in a Joint-Venture with Deilmann-Haniel Schachtbau GmbH.

Bunker reconditioning, colliery Ost, DSK
Reconditioning of the shotcrete lining of the spiral-chute bunker. Work is executed in a Joint-Venture comprising Deilmann-Haniel Schachtbau GmbH and Thyssen Schachtbau GmbH.

Operation of a heavy-duty winding system for Sedrun II shaft (TRANSCO):
Sedrun II shaft is equipped with a heavy-duty winding system for the delivery and removal of heavy plant and materials. The client is the consortium TRANSCO-Sedrun, which is lead-managed by the Swiss construction company Implenia AG. Following the delivery and installation the heavy-duty winding system will be operated by Thyssen Schachtbau GmbH.

Drilling and injection/grouting work, TRANSCO
Execution of technically demanding drillings preventer-protected as part of a drilling program which accompanies the tunnelling. The drillings are set south and north of the headings to explore water and/or gas-bearing points. In case that the former should be encountered injections are made.

Deepening No. 10 shaft, colliery Prosper Haniel (DSK)
The Joint-Venture comprising both Thyssen Schachtbau and Deilmann-Haniel Schachtbau has been commissioned to execute the deepening of no. 10 shaft of the colliery Prosper-Haniel. Subsequent to the planning and preparation phase during the fourth quarter 2003 and first quarter 2004 the operational phase commenced in June 2004. With an internal diameter of 8 metres the shaft is to be extended by some 300 metres from sixth level at 1.027 m depth to the seventh level.

Preparation work, e.g. such as the installation of a protective scaffold to maintain the service in the existing shaft has already been executed by the joint-venture. The lining of the shaft consists of a temporary support made of mesh and bolts with a concrete shell and a concrete inner shell to serve as the final lining. The sinking is divided into three phases: to sink through the safety pillar starting at the former shaft sump towards the drivage under the safety pillar, to construct the foreshaft with a shaft collar and the main sinking phase.

The shaft landing on the 7th level (4500 m³ debris) was done by the bolt & shotcrete method in 2006. The second quarter 2007 the shaft ventilation station Zollverein 7/8 will be made, after having sunk the 15 m deep sump the sinking phase will then be completed.
The shaft installations are to be mounted in the second half of 2007.
Completion is foreseen for the beginning of 2008.

Excavation for GSES
Excavating of a brine basin/reservoir of 130 m³ capacity by the means of a road headerAM 50. Work is executed in a Joint-Venture of TS Bau GmbH and Thyssen Schachtbau GmbH.

Shaft renovation/refurbishment at Neuhof-Ellers, K + S Kali GmbH
Sealing of the cast-iron tubbing column in shaft Neuhof and renovation/substitution of bunton bracktes in shaft Ellers. Work is done by a Joint-Venture of Thyssen Schachtbau GmbH and Deilmann-Haniel Schachtbau GmbH.

Exploratory drillings at Sigmundshall and Zielitz, K + S Kali GmbH:
Drillings by means of the counterflush technique, inclined and horizontal, some of up to 2000 m length. The (drilling) program consists of some 10000 bore metres.

Raiseboring in Switzerland, Steinag AG
Steinag AG plans to displace its mining operation. The material is brought to the central processing plant over an underground assembly line which is fed through a gravity shaft. Thyssen Schachtbai is to build the gravity shaft, which will be raisebored.

Märker Kalk GmbH, Harburg (near Ulm):
Driving of drifts and tunnels for the development of the „Mähringer Berg“ deposit for the foreseen cutting out of chalk and limestone in Joint Venture Schachtbau Nordhausen GmbH with Thyssen Schachtbau GmbH.

Installation and delivery of drop line for waste-material and reconstruction and modification of the headframe, shaft Teutschenthal.

Skalisty mine (OAO GMK Norilsk Nickel):
Construction of shaft WS-10
